Dr. Krupa Torne is one of the select group of super experts with training in paediatric neurology from other countries. She currently serves as the director of the Neurosciences division at Surya Children's Multispecialty Hospital, one of Mumbai, India's finest institutions for kids. She finished her fellowship in paediatric neurology and epilepsy at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Hospital and Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College in Mumbai, under the direction of Maharashtra University Health Sciences. She spent a brief time working at the prestigious academic hospital in the UK known as the University College London Hospital. She obtained her international fellowship in paediatric neurology, epilepsy, and neurorehabilitation after completing her paediatric neurology training at Birmingham Children's Hospital in the UK. She has undertaken numerous notable international courses, including the British Paediatric Movement Disorder Training Course and the British Paediatric Epilepsy Training Course in the UK, to supplement her advanced expertise in paediatric neurology. She has also received training in the Asian Institute of Ketogenic Diet's use of the diet to treat drug-resistant juvenile epilepsies. Dr. Torne has received numerous honours, which go well with her meticulous and clear attitude. She is a crucial member of the London, UK-based Journal of Neuroscience and Brain Imaging editorial board. She was given the honour of attending one of the premier courses in Paediatric Neuromuscular Disorder and Newborn Neurology in Budapest in Hungary thanks to an international bursary from the European Paediatric Neurology Society. She received an invitation from Movement Disorder International to participate in their essential winter school course. She received a cherry on top when she was invited to be the chief guest at the international paediatric conference held in Port Said, Egypt, and the world congress of anatomists held at the Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences in Karnataka. She has a number of noteworthy publications to her name in reputable national and international journals with peer review indexes. She actively participates in organising more than ten important national and international medical conferences. At Cambridge, Birmingham, Italy, France, Hungary, and other locations, she has delivered numerous national and international papers. She belongs to more than 15 prestigious national and international organisations dedicated to paediatric neurology and epilepsy. At the Indian Women Conference in 2018, she received the Best Woman Achiever in Paediatric Neurology award.
